First Look at Lily Collins and Kristen Stewart as Snow White

Next year, audiences will see both Lily Collinsand Kristen Stewart play Snow White in two competing movies. If there were concerns audiences would get the two princesses confused, first look at the two portrayals show these are going to be at least two very different looking movies.

Collins looks more like your typical Brother Grimm fairy tale princess in Relativity Media'suntitled Snow White movie, and apparentlyCollins agrees.

I keep saying to everyone I feel like I’m walking into a snow globe, a fairy tale, every single day. It’s so epic. I was part of a costume ball today, so you can only imagine the outfits. She’s very much that fairy tale princess we’ve all read about in books. She’s been modernized in a way that she becomes a fighter in the end.


The movie, which also stars Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hammer as the prince, opens March 16 and his currently filming in Montreal.

While Collins is taking the typical fairy tale princess route, Stewart looks more like a warrior than princess in Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman.

Character portraits were revealed at the movie's panel at Comic-Con, where Stewart talked about her character.

This girl has the amazing ability to channel fear, things that people are typically afraid to do, into this really focused, really charged, driving energy. She truly does not let her heart cloud her mind. Also I get to have a sword and stuff, and really cool weapons.


This Snow White project, which also stars Charlize Theron as the Queen, Sam Claflinas the prince and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, begins filming next week and opens June 1.
